First thing you need – is a huge farm. Fortunately, in this game you receive a large land with a lot of space for your future pets. There you can find different zones for your pets, including caves and pools with water. But the main location is a huge empty field in front of your house.
There you are able to purchase and build cages where your pets will live. The cages are made from special barriers, so you can always see these creatures. And of course, you need food to feed them. Developers made sure you have enough space to create a garden and plant different fruits, trees and vegetables. But from the beginning of the game you can’t unlock all locations and purchase every possible building.
So buy the first one, build high walls and ceiling and go explore the huge map to find your first pets and get them to their new home. But remember – the rarer the creature is, the more expensive their plorts are.
The map in the game is huge and consists of various locations that differ according to their nature and residents. In Slime Rancher 2021 developers added a bunch of different types of these creatures. The rarest ones live in the locked places, so you need to try really hard to open these locations and collect them. To collect these creatures you need a special vacuum. You have this tool from the beginning of the game, but it is only the first version.
So play to unlock new improvements for your tool and upgrade your farm. The pets you keep on your farm give you plorts after you feed them. You can exchange plorts and receive money. Go to the store and purchase all necessary equipment and improvements for the process, because in the future you will need to protect yourself from dangerous attacks.
The dangerous kinds form when two different kinds combine, and the only weapon that works against them is the average water. So upgrade your tool to be able to carry water and protect yourself and your farm from these dangerous creatures.
